The MaXbox is made of black EVA foam which is extremely light (220 grams) and is a rectangular cubic shape. It is water proof and will with stand copper cleaners, gun cleaning oils and solvents. A truly innovative and never before seen feature of the MaXbox are the magnets which are installed in the MaXbox so when placed on a steel bonnet or turret they will prevent the problem of your gun rest (traditionally sand bags) sliding or bumping off the vehicle while driving around the paddocks thus allowing the hunter/shooter to not have to worry about his/her gun rest while hunting. The magnets are capable of keeping the MaXbox stationary withstanding speeds of approximately 70kms/hr.

The slots in the MaXbox are cut in a special way for a rifle to fit snug. Due to the square and long base, the rifle will stand in the MaXbox without assistance by the shooter. Contrast to other stands such as bi pods and sand bags the MaXbox requires one unit to get accurate results. The rifle therefore is now in a center mounted position which will now enable the shooter to aim at the target and keep the rifle perfectly still. If in the case of a moving target the MaXbox allows the shooter incredible stability while swiveling the rifle to keep the target in the line of sight. This is possible because of the center mounted position of the rifle in the MaXbox.

No other rifle rest on the market anywhere in the world has the capability to sight the rifle with the same rest as you will be hunting with. This is a great advantage ensuring accuracy while hunting and taking those long distance shots.
